Why Assessment is important?

To identify children/adolescents/adults who may be at risk for potential health, cognitive, learning, developmental, social, communication, and emotional-behavioral problems, for example; Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD/ADD, Specific Learning Disorder (Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Dysgraphia), Social Communication Disorder (SCD), Global Developmental Delay (GDD), Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD), Anxiety/Depression Conditions. Referrals and recommendations based on assessment report are crucial to further treatment for better health.

What is Psychotherapy, CBT, BT & SST?

Psychotherapy (Talk Therapy) helps an individual to understand what helps them to identify their feelings and ways of thinking to become more positive, accepting and able to cope with difficult situations.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems and helps in significant improvement in functioning and quality of life.
Behavior Therapy (BT) & Social Skill Training (SST) refers to a wide range of interventions e.g. ABA techniques and instructional methods used to help an individual understand and improve behavior/social skills and social emotional aspect. Suitable for individual with ASD and other conditions.
